The Lion and the Mouse A lion was peacefully sleeping when a tiny mouse started running up and down upon him. The lion got mad and caught the mouse under his big paw. "How dare you disturb me, the king of beasts. Now I'm going to swallow you, you tiny mouse." But, the mouse begged, ".***ive me, .***ive me. Someday I may also help you." The lion didn't believe him. But, just the same, he let the tiny mouse go. One day, however, the lion was caught in a trap. He roared, kicked and bit the ropes, but all failed. The tiny mouse, who was passing by, saw him. Immediately, the mouse began biting and cutting the ropes with his sharp teeth. And the mouse set the lion free. Moral Lesson: "Do a little act of kindness, someday it will.***e back to you."
